Deleting a guestbook entry

A guestbook allows people coming to your site the opportunity to leave a comment . It can lead to possible abuse. Due to this, SheerCMS provides the administrator the power to modify or delete guestbook entries if you feel they are not the kind of content you wish to have shown within your site.

To manage guestbook entries, simply log into the SheerCMS Administration console and select "Guestbook" from the top menu.

When you enter the "Guestbook Entry Editor", you are shown a list of all the entries that are currently in your guestbook.

To delete an entry, select the entry that you wish to delete. The lower half of the screen will display the Author, Email Address, Date and Content of the entry.

Press the "Delete" button to delete the entry and the guestbook entry list will refresh, without the deleted entry.
