Modifying a guestbook entry

A guestbook allows people coming to your site the opportunity to leave a comment . It can lead to possible abuse. Due to this, SheerCMS provides the administrator the power to modify or delete guestbook entries if you feel they are not the kind of content you wish to have shown within your site.

To manage guestbook entries, simply log into the SheerCMS Administration console and select "Guestbook" from the top menu.

When you enter the "Guestbook Entry Editor", you are shown a list of all the entries that are currently in your guestbook.

To modify an entry, select the entry that you wish to modify. The lower half of the screen will display the Author, Email Address, Date and Content of the entry. Only the content is available for editing.

Once you have modified the entries content, just press the "Save" button to update the guestbook.
